McDonald's Employee match and win

We have all seen (and raised an eyebrow at) News stories about customers designed fast food manufacturers to make them fat.

But here is a new "means a member of McDonalds have successfully sued the company because he had the weight at the same time working there.

The unnamed employee a McDonalds branch in Brazil, blame it on his weight gain due to:
His job requirements included taste-testing foodstuffs (due to frequent "mystery shopping" inspections).
He was provided with free lunches-but no healthy options.

He began working for McDonalds at 18 years of age weighing a healthy 154 pounds. After twelve years, he had received 65 kg.

Judge Joao Filho ruled that the company will pay $ 17,500 to the employee. They have the right to appeal and reported to consider their options.

It surprises me, frankly, he won a profit of 65 lbs in 12 years of age is about 5.5 kilograms per year, which is not a too rapid profit. If the employee had previously had a fairly active lifestyle in school, he may well have been as much weight by mention of a sedentary desk job.

If you think it is a crazy examples of disputes mad, or a story about McDonalds gets what they deserve, opened up the debate on how much the responsibility of the employer for its staff's health.

If you are working in a company with limited or unhealthy food choices, they are to blame if you end up overweight? if your work involves sampling food, what actions should your employer to take that this does not affect your health?
